The fire pit belongs to Aarhus Municipality and can be booked via Book Naturen. If you are holding an event with more than approx. 50 people, you may also consider booking Fire Pit “Warming” at Tumlepladsen and possibly the fire hut. The fire pit is located at Tumlepladsen in Riis Skov, specifically on the “football field”. There are ample opportunities for activities in the areas around the fire pit, and the area offers, among other things: • Obstacle course • Speaker’s podium with associated spectator seating • Play equipment for smaller children • Football field Practical information: • Bring your own firewood. • It is permitted to collect dry branches from the forest floor. • You do not book the activities and the football field by booking the fire pit. If you wish to book the entire Tumlepladsen, it can be done via brugaarhus.dk. Directions: Parking is available at Riis Skov Hostel. From here, it is approximately 350 meters to the fire pit.
