The fire hut belongs to Aarhus Municipality and can be booked via Book Naturen. If you are holding an event with more than 50 people, you may also consider booking the fire pits “Daus” or “Warming”. This fire hut is located at the top of a sloping terrain, where the following facilities are available: • An obstacle course • A speaker’s podium with associated spectator seating • Play equipment for smaller children • Football field Practical information: • There is a grill at the fire hut. • Bring your own firewood. • It is permitted to collect dry branches from the forest floor. • There is approximately 200 meters to a pay toilet on Dronning Margrethes Vej – bring 2 DKK. • There is seating for approximately 50 people in the fire hut. Directions: Parking is available at Riis Skov Hostel. From here, it is approximately 350 meters to the fire pit. Walk onto Marienlundsvej and follow the path into the forest in a southerly direction to the site. GPS: 56°10’37.2”N 10°13’26.6”E.
