About this spot
Vesterskoven west of Silkeborg contains all forest types and all types of terrain. The area for free tent camping starts south of Naturstien and extends down to Den Skæve Vej at the southern end of the forest. The large fenced field in the middle of the forest by Kongshus is not included in the free tent camping area. Remember to observe the rules for free tent camping.
