Virklund Børnehus og Virklund Outdoor Bålhytte og shelterplads

Virklund Børnehus and Virklund outdoor, with a grant from Friluftsrådet, have erected this campfire hut with an associated shelter site. The purpose of the establishment has been to promote outdoor life opportunities for children in the local area. The campfire hut and shelter are used daily by the two kindergartens in Virklund, Virklund Børnehus and Troldehøjen. Virklund Outdoor uses the facilities outside the kindergartens’ opening hours. When the facilities are not used by either the kindergartens or Virklund Outdoor, outsiders can use the facilities. The shelter can be booked on weekdays between 3:30 PM - 8 AM and on weekends via Fritidsportalen https://fritidsportalen.silkeborg.dk/ We would encourage everyone using the campfire hut and shelter to remember that the area is used daily by children from nurseries and kindergartens, therefore, pay special attention to tidying up and leaving the area in an inviting condition.
