6 shelters, barbecue hut, toilet building, and various “relaxation oases” in the 12 ha. large nature area. The 12 ha. large area, which previously housed the amusement park “Varde Sommerland”, now appears as a recreational nature area, with the possibility to use all of the area’s facilities for free. There are five shelters that can be used year-round, and they cannot be booked in advance. From approx. April 1st to November 1st, there is access to toilet and water at both shelters and the barbecue hut. There are various areas with tables/benches. By the toilet building, you will find 2 shelters, a campfire site, space for 15 people, and firewood. In the area by the fire hut, there is a campfire site with 3 shelters and tables/benches. By the stream, there is a shelter with a view over the stream. It is possible to arrive from the land side and via Varde Å by, for example, canoe or kayak. The Coast to Coast trail passes Varde Sommerland. At the site there are: 6 shelters in total in Varde Sommerland. Campfire site. Fire hut. Drinking water.
