Gl. Varde Sommerland

The area, which previously housed the amusement park “Varde Sommerland,” now appears as a recreational nature area, with the possibility to use all of the area’s facilities for free. There are five shelters that can be used year-round, and they cannot be booked in advance. From April 1st to November 1st, there is access to a toilet and water at both the shelters and the grill hut. There are various areas with tables/benches. By the toilet building, you will find 2 shelters, a fire pit, space for 15 people, and firewood. In the area, there is a playground and a campfire hut with 3 shelters and tables/benches. It is possible to arrive both from the land side and via Varde Å, for example, by canoe or kayak. Located in connection with the coast-to-coast trail.
