About this spot
The site consists of 4 shelters with 2 campfire sites and space to pitch a couple of smaller tents. There is space for 18 overnight guests in the shelter. Several table/bench sets are available at the site. Wheelchairs can get close to the table at the ends of the tables. You must bring your own water and firewood. It is permitted to collect branches from the forest floor for firewood, but trees must not be felled. The shelter site must be left tidy, and all waste must be carried out of the forest. Remember to extinguish the fire before you leave the shelter site! There is a primitive composting toilet at the site, which is not easily accessible. Find the Way by car There is a parking lot at Kagerup Station. You must not drive into the forest to the shelter site. Find the way by wheelchair From the parking lot at Kagerup Station, there is an asphalt road all the way to the campsite, approximately 2.5 km. There are several inclines on the route, but they are manageable. Find the way by public transport The shelter is centrally located in Gribskov, approximately 2.5 km from Kagerup Station. The site is closed for booking and overnight stays from October 1st to November 15th.
