Nykshytta - dagsturhytta i Askvoll

The day-trip cabin in Askvoll municipality is located by Nyksvatnet in Holmedal. The cabin has solar cells for light and heat in the cabin, as well as sanitary facilities (outdoor toilet). The cabin is located approximately 455 meters above sea level. The trail is about 2 km long, and at a normal pace, you spend 45 minutes going up. The day-trip cabin is a low-threshold offer for hikers - a place to eat your packed lunch, warm up a bit, and browse books. Each cabin has a Nynorsk hiking library with many different books.
