Vidsyn - dagsturhytta i Fjaler

The day trip cabin in Fjaler municipality is located at Bygdeheia in Ytre Fjaler and offers good views in all directions and over the sea towards Alden. The cabin has therefore been named Vidsyn. The cabin is situated at about 280 meters. There is about a 2 km trail from both sides, and the ascent takes between 30-60 minutes depending on fitness level. The day trip cabin is a low-threshold offer for hikers - a place to eat packed lunches, warm up, and browse books. Each cabin has a Nynorsk hiking library with many different books. The project is a collaboration between Sogn og Fjordane county municipality, Sparebankstiftinga / Sparebanken Sogn og Fjordane, and the municipalities themselves. Read more: dagsturhytta.no homepage.
