Sognesjøhytta - dagsturhytta i Solund

The day-trip cabin in Solund kommune is called Sognesjøhytta and is located south of Hardbakke near Hopsosen. There is a great view over Sognesjøen. The cabin is located at approximately 15 meters above sea level, and it is 3 km from the parking lot to Sognesjøhytta. If walking from Solund center, one should expect about 1 hour for the hike. Near the day-trip cabin is a small, sheltered, shallow cove where kayaks can easily be landed. The day-trip cabin is a low-threshold offer for hikers - a place to eat their packed lunch, get a bit of warmth, and browse books. Each cabin has a Nynorsk hiking library with many different books.
