Stedjestova - dagsturhytte i Sogndal kommune

Stedjestova is one of three day-trip cabins in Sogndal kommune, and is located on Stedjeåsen. Stedjestova is located at 300 meters above sea level on the way up to Stedjeåsen. The cabin has views towards the town center in the north-east and Storehaugen in the south. The cabin is positioned so that it should be accessible to as many people as possible, including families with children. The hike up is 1 km and 250 vertical meters. One can expect to use about 30-40 minutes at a leisurely pace. The day-trip cabin is a low-threshold offer for hikers - a place to eat their packed lunch, get a bit of warmth, and browse books. Each cabin has a Nynorsk hiking library with many different books. The project is a collaboration between Sogn og Fjordane fylkeskommune, Sparebankstiftinga / Sparebanken Sogn og Fjordane, and the municipalities themselves.
