Melsbu - Dagsturhytta i Time kommune

The day-trip cabin in Time kommune is called Melsbu and is located in the popular hiking area by Melsvatnet. The cabin is positioned with a nice view of the lake, and is a lovely hiking destination and meeting point with an accessible toilet, several shelters, a bonfire spot, and a fishing pier nearby. Inside the cabin you can seek shelter from weather and wind, and warm yourself in front of a wood-burning stove. From here you have a lovely view over nature towards the water. On the deck outside the cabin, 5 picnic tables are placed. A trail description for the cabin can be found here.
