Røyskatten day-trip cabin is universally designed and idyllically located by the waterfront. The cabin has large windows that offer a great view over Øygardsvatnet, and here you will find both a wood-burning stove and seating, making it cozy all year round. The cabin is a perfect place to enjoy the silence or meet friends on a trip. Two alternative hiking trails to the day-trip cabin will be marked. In addition, Jæren hiking association has marked several local short walks, connecting the residential areas of Ålgård to Øygardsvatnet.
