Stokki-hytta - Dagsturhytta i Sandnes kommune

Along Stokkalandsvatnet in Sandnes, you will find Stokki-hytta nicely located with a fine view over the lake. The day trip cabin is a natural hiking destination and meeting point where it is pleasant to gather for a coffee break in fresh nature or seek shelter from wind and weather in the cabin in front of a warm wood-burning stove. Outside the cabin, there are 8 benches adapted for wheelchair users and a grill for preparing packed food. Stokkalandsvatnet was protected as a bird sanctuary in 1996. The purpose is to preserve this important nesting area for various wetland birds. The day trip cabin is automatically locked between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
