Prestakvilet - dagsturhytta i Samnanger kommune

This nice day-trip cabin is located by Kvernesvatnet in Samnanger municipality. The starting point is at Ådland church. Good signage at the starting point and central points along the way. The cabin has a small wood stove, a library with Nynorsk children’s books, and benches inside and outside. Here it is nice to eat your packed lunch and take a good break. It is not permitted to stay overnight in the cabin. Leave the cabin as you wish to find it, clean and tidy. Take your rubbish, bottles, etc. home with you. Contact Samnanger municipality with questions and feedback about the cabin. Trail description to the cabin: Park by the church at Ådland. Follow the gravel road from the church down to the sea and further inward until it turns into a marked hiking trail. Pass the farm in Søvika and follow the idyllic trail on Prestavegen further inward towards Kvernesvatnet. Signposted from the trail down to the cabin/water. There is a good child-friendly trail, but it is not accessible with a stroller/wheelchair. Tour suggestion: Kvernesvatnet.
