Birkelund Shelter 2

Shelter site with 4 shelters in the middle of the peaceful Vejle Ådal. The site contains 4 shelters, somewhat separated from each other. Shelters 1, 2, and 3 can be booked individually, while shelter 4 is available without booking. Each shelter has space for 6-8 people. There is a communal grill and campfire site, and access to a composting toilet – bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Firewood and water must be brought, but it is also permitted to gather wood for the campfire from the forest floor on Naturstyrelsen’s areas. Shelter 2 can be booked directly via the “Book here” button or through Naturstyrelsen’s booking system. Please note that your booking will be cancelled if you have not arrived at the site by 8:00 PM. If no one has booked the spot, it is available to anyone who wishes to settle down for a shorter or longer period – perhaps just for a brief rest around the campfire or for an overnight stay.
