Birkelund Shelter 3

Shelter site with 4 shelters in the middle of Vejle Ådal. Shelter site in the middle of the peaceful Vejle Ådal. The site contains 4 shelters, somewhat separated from each other. Shelters 1, 2, and 3 can be booked individually, while shelter 4 is without booking. Each shelter has space for 6-8 people, there is a communal grill and fire pit, and access to a composting toilet - bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Firewood and water must be brought, but it is also permitted to gather wood for the fire pit from the forest floor on Naturstyrelsen’s areas. Shelter 3 can be booked directly via the “Book here” button or via Naturstyrelsen’s booking system. Note that your booking will lapse if you have not arrived at the site by 8:00 PM at the latest. If no one has booked the site, it is available to anyone who wishes to settle down for a shorter or longer period - perhaps just for a short rest around the fire pit or for an overnight stay.
