Horne Næs

On top of Horne Næs lies this small fantastic shelter site. Primitive overnight stay in a class of its own. Here you get it all: forest, slope = view, shelter, sea, and plenty of space. In total, there is space for 20 overnight guests, distributed among two modern shelters (with space for 9 and 5 people respectively) and an “old-fashioned” log cabin shelter (6 people). The coast offshore is a hotspot for anglers and underwater hunters. A long staircase connects the campsite directly with the coast. Please show consideration for the neighbors on both sides by respecting the erected fences. This site was taken over in March 2016 by Faaborg-Midtfyn Kommune from KFUM-Spejderne i Danmark, who originally inherited the land from shipowner Mogens Huusfeldt Sørensen in Svendborg. The land is currently managed in a collaboration between Trente Mølle and Faaborg-Midtfyn Kommune. The shelter must and can be booked here.
