From the parking lot by the lakes in Tversted Klitplantage, it is an 800 m walk to the large plain at Østerklit. Here, there is a wide view of a vast sky. In the eastern part of the plain, there are shelters and a bonfire site, making it easy to stay overnight. Østerklit Stokmølle is always open to the public, and there is a toilet and drinking water.
