About this spot
Østerklit post mill is open to visitors all year round, 24 hours a day. Audio and light guiding available in Danish, English, and German. The post mill is the only remaining operational mill in Denmark. Unfortunately, the mill no longer operates weekly. Driving a car into Østerklit is not permitted. Parking is available at the parking lot by Tversted Søerne - a 1 km walk. In the building, there is a toilet/water facility which is open during the summer half of the year. In connection with Østerklit, there is both a campsite that can be booked and a shelter site that cannot be booked, but where one shelter can be booked.
