About this spot
Hang out under the treetops. Here are two sets of poles with metal eyelets, so you can easily set up a couple of hammocks. The poles are 185 cm high. The site is tucked away between beech trees, at the end of a hill, and is surrounded by a small stream. At the site, you will also find a small campfire site with a bench. Bring your own hammock or borrow one for free from the hammock hotel at Tipperuphus - follow this link to book a hammock. The hammock site was established in collaboration with Foreningen for Tisvildevejen, Haldbjerg Naturcampus, and Nationalpark Kongernes Nordsjælland and is available for free use on a first-come, first-served basis. You must bring your own water and firewood. It is permitted to collect branches from the forest floor for firewood, but trees must not be cut down. The shelter site must be left tidy, and all waste must be removed from the forest. Remember to extinguish the fire before leaving the shelter site.
