Vipstjerten shelter

Vipstjerten shelter is located in Gribskov Vest in Strøgårdsvang. The shelter is situated in an old gravel pit, in a quiet and peaceful area. There is space for two people, perhaps three if you sleep close together. The shelter is located by a nice bog and offers a lovely view. Rich in wildlife and nature. There is a fire pit and a small bench. As there are no markings from the local forest road to the shelter itself, you must find it using the GPS coordinates. GPS coordinates 55.980910, 12.265384. If traveling by car, you can park at one of the many parking lots along Helsingevej, between Tibberup and Gadevang, from where there will be a hike of between 1.5 and 4 kilometers. If using public transport, take bus 363 and get off at Kagerup (gribskovvej), from where there is a hike of approximately 2 kilometers.
