Thorning Shelterplads

The shelters in Thorning are located in the Thorning Scouts’ area. They are situated in a scenic area, close to troldmosen and the town. Here there is both a pizzeria and a grocery store. It is possible to drive to the site and park nearby. All shelters are located on plateaus. Two of them are on the same plateau. Four of the shelters are large with pull-out tables, and the last one is small. At each shelter, there is a small fire pit with a grill grate. In the area, there is an amphitheater with a fire pit, a bonfire hut with a loft, several table-benches, a composting toilet, water, and firewood. Price DKK 30 per night, however, children under 5 years are free. Payment is made via MobilePay upon arrival. Space can be booked, however, this is not necessary, one can also take a chance.
