Shelterplads - Grathe Hede (shelter 1)

The shelter site is located in the eastern part of Kompedal Plantage, northeast of Grathe Hede, and only 30 meters from Hærvejen. If arriving by car, there is a parking lot at Kompedallejren. From here, it’s a 2.1-kilometer walk to the shelter site. The site has two shelters, each accommodating approx. six people. On this page, you can book “shelter 1.” There is a fire pit, a table-bench set, and a forest toilet. There is no drinking water at the site. Furthermore, free camping is allowed throughout Kompedal Plantage. You may collect branches from the forest floor, but if you want to be sure to have a small fire, bring some firewood yourself. Remember to clean up after yourself.
