Shelterplads - Grathe Hede (shelter 2)

The shelter site is located in the eastern part of Kompedal Plantage, northeast of Grathe Hede and only 30 meters from Hærvejen. If arriving by car, there is a parking lot at Kompedallejren. From here, it is a 2.1-kilometer walk to the shelter site. The site has two shelters, each with space for approximately six people. Here on this page you can book “shelter 2.” There is a fire pit, a table and bench set, and a forest latrine. There is no drinking water at the site. Furthermore, free primitive camping is allowed throughout Kompedal Plantage. Wood may be gathered from the forest floor, but if you want to be sure of having a small fire, bring some firewood yourself. Remember to clean up after yourself.
