Bytoften Shelter 2

Visit the two shelters and the campfire hut at Bytoften near Langeskov. Bytoften is located in scenic surroundings only 5 minutes’ drive from the Langeskov motorway exit. Here you can also experience the story of Bytoften’s ancient landscape, where a number of farms and buildings from the Bronze Age, Iron Age, and Viking Age are marked in the area exactly where they were found and archaeologically excavated. There is also a packed lunch house with display boards and stories from the ancient landscape. If you have brought your phone, you can download the “Natureventyr” app and listen to the story of the Viking Asgot at a number of points in the landscape.
