Lærkedal Outdoor Center

In 2022, the school camp Lærkedal rose like a phoenix from the ashes. After the old school camp was demolished, a new school camp has now been built, where overnight stays take place in shelters. In addition to a large and very nice shelter where 30 (perhaps more) can lie around a campfire and gaze into the flames, a ‘leader shelter’ has been built in immediate connection to the large shelter, where teachers, educators, leaders, or others can sleep. The old log house has been renovated and contains a common room, a small toilet, a small kitchen, a room with two beds, and an educational supply room. In the supply room, you will find a range of ready-to-use educational programs, and of course, materials for them. An outdoor kitchen is located right by the log cabin. A packed lunch house, two public composting toilets, a disc golf course, the nearby mountain bike trail, and a bridge into the lake complete the experience. The project is a collaboration with Lokalrådet and local associations, Naturstyrelsen, and Trente Mølle. Booking is done by contacting Trente Mølle at [email protected] or by calling 62681979. The place can only be booked as a complete unit. Thus, it is not possible for a private individual to rent, for example, 3 spaces in the small shelter.
