Spejdergrydens Shelterplads

Transport/Parking: Parking lot by the dog forest on Akkerupvej 38 - 250 meters from the site. At the parking lot, where the MTB track starts, a water tap has been installed. The nearest toilet and water can be found at Trunderup Sø approx. 400 m to the east. At the shelter, there is a campfire site with benches. If there is firewood in the woodshed, you are welcome to use it in limited quantities. It costs 20 DKK, which can be paid via MobilePay no. 878 119. Firewood is only provided occasionally, so if you want to be sure you can light a fire, bring your own firewood. Naturally, trees and bushes at the site must not be felled or cut. The shelter can be booked via www.bookenshelter.dk for 10 DKK per person per night. If no one has booked the shelter, you can still choose to “take a chance” without booking. In that case, the “first-come, first-served” principle applies, and an overnight stay costs nothing. However, if users who have booked the shelter for that particular day arrive, you will have to vacate the entire shelter for them. In addition to Spejdergyden’s shelter site, there is another shelter in the forest north of Trunderup Sø. By the lake, there are fishing opportunities, a campfire site, a year-round open toilet, and water.
