About this spot
Shelter site close to Hastrup Lake with 5 shelters divided into two groups. Shelter 3 is in a group of 3 shelters in Hastrup Forest. Each shelter has space for 5-6 people. They are located in a group with a shared fire pit and grill. There is access to a composting toilet - bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. If you want to be sure of dry wood, you must bring it yourself, but it is otherwise permitted to gather wood from the forest floor for use at the fire pit. The shelters cannot be booked, but are available on a “first come, first served” basis. However, it is expected that visitors share the space.
