Hastrup Plantage – shelter 5

Shelter 5 is located in a group of 2 shelters in Hastrup Skov. Each shelter has space for 5-6 people. They have a shared fire pit and grill. There is access to a composting toilet – bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. If you want to be sure of dry wood, you must bring it yourself, but otherwise it is permitted to gather wood from the forest floor for use in the fire pit. Shelter 5 can be booked directly via the “Book here” button or via the Danish Nature Agency’s booking system. Please note that your booking will be cancelled if you have not arrived at the site by 8:00 PM at the latest. However, if no one has booked the site, it is available to anyone who wishes to settle down for a shorter or longer period – perhaps just for a short break around the fire pit or for an overnight stay.
