About this spot
On the outskirts of Mols Bjerge is a small campsite where you can pitch your tent. Although surrounded by trees, the site is open and offers mountain views. The area is located on the border between cultivated fields and grazing animals in Mols Bjerge’s varied terrain. At the campfire site, you can enjoy an open fire. There is no firewood at the site. The site is located on Naturstyrelsen’s land, and it is permitted to collect branches from the forest floor. 650 meters from the tent site is Porskær Stenhus, one of Denmark’s most beautiful dolmens. By the dolmen, there is a parking lot with a primitive toilet, two table-bench sets, and a drinking water tap. Here you can park your car. There is a wide selection of marked trails in the area, and most of them go through beautiful hilly terrain. A tipi nearby belongs to Molsskolen.
