Shelterplads i Knebel Plantage - shelter nr. 3 (bookbar)

The shelter site is located in Knebel Plantage slightly east of Knebel By. Mols Bjerge is located slightly to the east. The shelters are situated at the edge of the forest, facing an open area to the north. See also the hiking folder for Mols Bjerge: https://naturstyrelsen.dk/media/1segbnul/33_mols-bjerge_web_020520.pdf The shelter can be accessed via two routes: From the car park at Poskær Stenhus, it’s about 300 meters along a path next to a hedgerow, and then another approx. 200 meters along a forest track behind the chain barrier. Approx. 500 meters along the gravel road that turns right from Poskærvej immediately north of Knebel By, and then further along the forest track behind the chain barrier. The shelter is one of 3 bookable shelters at the site. The fourth shelter cannot be booked; the “first come, first served” principle applies here. There is a composting toilet at the site and a flush toilet at the car park at Poskær Stenhus. Water can be fetched from the toilet building at Poskær Stenhus. There is a campfire site at the nearby tent pitch. Additionally, two campfire sites with grill grates will be established at the shelters during 2025. The shelter was built with support from A.P.
