Shelterplads i Knebel Plantage - shelter nr. 4 (ikke bookbar)

The shelter site is located in Knebel Plantage a little east of Knebel By. Mols Bjerge is located a little further east. The shelters are located at the edge of the forest, facing an open area to the north. See also the hiking brochure for Mols Bjerge: https://naturstyrelsen.dk/media/1segbnul/33_mols-bjerge_web_020520.pdf The shelter can be accessed in two ways: From the car park at Poskær Stenhus, there is approx. 300 meters along a path next to a hedgerow, and then an additional approx. 200 meters along a forest track behind the chain barrier. Approx. 500 meters along the gravel road that turns right from Poskærvej immediately north of Knebel By, and then further along the forest track behind the chain barrier. Parking is only possible/permitted at Poskær Stenhus. This shelter cannot be booked. Here, the ‘first come, first served’ principle applies. The 3 other shelters on the site can be booked. There is a composting toilet on the site and a flush toilet at the car park at Poskær Stenhus. Water can be fetched at the toilet building at Poskær Stenhus. There is a fire pit at the nearby campsite. Additionally, two fire pits with grills will be established at the shelters during 2025. The shelter was built with support from A.P. Møller Fonden.
