Blishønen shelter

The shelter must be booked. The site consists of a smaller shelter and a campfire site with a bench. It is permitted to pitch a single tent (max. 3-person) in direct proximity to the shelter, max. 10 meters away. You must bring your own water and firewood. However, it is permitted to collect dead branches from the forest floor, but trees must not be felled. Remember to take trash with you and extinguish the fire before leaving the site. Directions by car: The parking lot on Frederiksværksvej is located approx. 1.2 km north of the shelter. Driving cars in the forest is not allowed, but the forest roads are suitable for cyclists and pedestrians. Directions by public transport: You can get off the bus in Esbønderup at Tingbakken stop and walk approx. 2km, through forest and along a lake, to the shelter. You can also get off the bus at Skovskolen in Nødebo and walk along Esrum Lake. A trip of approx. 5 km.
