About this spot
| On the outskirts of Lejre town lies this quiet shelter site. If you follow Skjoldungestien, the site is just a short detour from the path, in a small wooded area opposite a scout hut. The shelter has sleeping spaces for 4-5 people, and there is a composting toilet/outhouse. There is a fire pit and a picnic table set. Firewood for free use is placed at the site once a week. Drinking water can be tapped from a tap at one of the scout huts (closed in winter). You are welcome to pitch a tent next to the shelter. The site is located at Klostergaardsvej 66B, 4320 Lejre. How to book: Booking is only required for groups of over 10 people. For groups under 10 people, the first-come, first-served principle applies at the site.
