About this spot
Shelter site located in an old gravel pit with nice vegetation around it. There is a fireplace and benches. There is also a composting toilet. It is not permitted to drive to the site, not even with equipment. Parking must take place in the large parking lot by the museum, where water can also be fetched, although the water may be turned off during winter periods. The shelter cannot be booked; it is available for free use on a first-come, first-served basis. Tents are not allowed on the site.
