About this spot
The campsite in Kasmose Skov is located in the untouched part of Kasmose Skov. At the site, there are two 5-person shelters, situated on top of the cliff with a view over Lillebælt. From the cliff, it is possible to see Trelle Næs in Jylland. The forest is owned by Naturstyrelsen and has been designated as an untouched forest since the early 1990s. The subsoil in Kasmose Skov consists of plastic clay. When it rains, the clay becomes soft as butter and occasionally large sections of the cliff with trees slide into the sea. The overnight site is designed for approximately 15 people. Please note that the shelter site is close to a steep slope down to the coast. Therefore, exercise common sense, stay at a safe distance from the slope, and pay special attention to ensure children do not get too close.
