The shelter site on the public area at Strib Nordstrand is located right by Lillebælt. Large ships pass close by the coast daily, and from the beach, you can see Fredericia’s active industrial harbor. Next to the shelter site is a large campfire hut with a fire pit, grill grate, and picnic tables. Close to the shelter site is a large public parking lot with waste sorting, drinking water, and a toilet building with a year-round accessible toilet. The shelters must be booked on www.bookenshelter.dk and it costs 30 kr./person/night.
