Rude Skov, Shelters Store Stubbesø

Choose this site if you are a group that needs 2 shelters, i.e., you are a group of 10-12 people. Others also have the right to use any empty shelter or pitch a tent at the site. By the shelters, you will find a campfire site with a grill and a picnic table. Bring bags for collecting your own trash, toilet paper, and wet wipes. Leave the site clean, as you would wish to find it. It is permitted to gather small wood for firewood, but if you want to ensure it is dry, you should bring your own firewood or charcoal. It can be good to bring a small saw, a small splitting axe, and firelighters. Never cut into living trees! You are welcome to pitch a few smaller (2-3 person) tents at the site if you are more people. Otherwise, follow the instructions on the info sign at the site. Advance booking: You can book priority for overnight stays in the shelters. The two shelters are booked together. You can have a maximum of two consecutive overnight stays in the shelters. Only the shelters are booked. Others can simultaneously use facilities and pitch tents at the site, sharing the campfire area. Bookings can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay. With a booking, you must take use of the shelters before 8 PM, otherwise your priority right will lapse. Access conditions: you will find parking spaces along Hørsholm Kongevej. NOTE that Hørsholm Kongevej is closed to traffic during two periods: June 16 - December 17, 2025, and April 7 - August 31, 2026. During these periods, parking is redirected to the parking lot on Sophie Magdelenes Vej. It is not permitted to drive into the forest.
