About this spot
The day-trip cabin in Årdal is located on Moakamben, above Ytre Moa. The cabin is situated at approx. 245 meters above sea level. One can start the hike from Moa or from Lykkja in Utladalen. The day-trip cabin is a low-threshold offer for hikers - a place to eat their packed lunch, get a bit of warmth, and browse books. Each cabin has a Nynorsk hiking library with many different books. The project is a collaboration between Sogn og Fjordane fylkeskommune, Sparebankstiftinga / Sparebanken Sogn og Fjordane, and the municipalities themselves. Read more: Website dagsturhytta.no.
