About this spot
The trip to the day-trip cabin is signposted, and from the parking lot it is 1.3 km to the cabin. When the road splits in two, keep left and follow the path upwards, and you will be there quite soon. It is a mix of gravel path and a steep tractor road. It is also possible to hike from Sauda to the day-trip cabin; there are several paths leading to the day-trip cabin over Fløgstadåsen. Right by the day-trip cabin is Rødstjødna, which is a nice swimming spot during the summer season.
