Draumekvila - dagsturhytta i Gloppen

The cabin in Gloppen municipality is located at Draumekvila in Trivselsskogen on Sandane. It takes approximately 20-25 minutes to walk to the cabin from the sign by E-39. It is 1.4 km one way. It is also possible to take a round trip in Trivselsskogen of approx. 6 km. Then you pass through Fosseteateret. The day trip cabin is a low-threshold offer for hikers - a place to eat your packed lunch, get a little warmth, and browse books. Each cabin has a Nynorsk hiking library with many different books. The project is a collaboration between Sogn og Fjordane County Municipality, Sparebankstiftinga / Sparebanken Sogn og Fjordane, and the municipalities themselves. Trivselsskogen is a hiking area close to the center, right by the municipal center Sandane in Gloppen municipality. The area consists of 6 km of trails with various hiking routes. Here you will find Solplatået, the love forest where you can hang hearts or carve into bark, Draumekvila with the day trip cabin, a prayer pond, a dog park, Trygg i naturen (TIN-camp), and the viewpoints Utsiken and Fosseteateret at Holvikfossen. In Trivselsskogen, there are two very beautiful Sherpa trails with stairs that stand like small works of art.
