Strandmølle Strand, shelter

Especially intended for long-distance kayakers, but everyone is welcome. In addition to the shelter, there is a fire pit with a grill and a table and bench set. A toilet is located in a nearby parking lot, 600 meters to the south on the other side of Strandvejen. See map. The toilet at Strandmøllekroen cannot be used. Use the waste container located on the grassy area by the beach. Bring plastic bags for collecting your own waste, toilet paper, and wet wipes. Leave the site clean, as you would wish to find it yourself. It is permitted to collect small dry wood for use in the fire ring. The felled trees next to the site are freshly cut and therefore not suitable as firewood – they just smoke. Alternatively, bring barbecue charcoal. It can be good to bring a small saw, a small splitting axe, and firelighters. Never saw into living trees! A few supplementary tents can be set up by the shelter. Also, follow the instructions on the information sign at the campsite. Advance booking: You can book priority for overnight stay in the shelter. You can stay a maximum of two consecutive nights in the shelter. It is only the shelter you are booking. Others can simultaneously use facilities and pitch a tent on the site and share the fire pit. Booking can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay. Upon booking, you must occupy the shelter before 8 PM, otherwise your priority will be forfeited.
