About this spot
Free tenting is allowed in the part of Store Dyrehave located east of Kongevejen. The forest is a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its unique Parforce Landscape. There is a primitive campsite down to a lake, and several running routes, fitness trails, and a long MTB trail. The forest is widely used for many forms of outdoor recreation.
