Løvsangeren shelter

The Løvsangeren shelter is located in Store Dyrehave, near Hillerød. The shelter is somewhat hidden within some younger vegetation, in a large old beech forest. Despite being a bit hidden, there is a very nice view of nature and the forest. There will be lovely evening sun at the site. Inside the shelter itself, there is room for 2 people, maybe 3 if you lie a bit close. There is a small fire pit and a bench at the site. You can find the shelter using the GPS coordinates, as it is not marked from the gravel road in the forest. GPS coordinates 55.92081, 12.34518. You can get here via Hillerød station, from which there is a hike of approx. 3 kilometers. You can also use one of the many forest parking lots in the area; it will be just under a kilometer from the nearest one, on Overdrevvejen, to the shelter itself.
