Geotopen Slettingen, Guldblomme bookbart shelter

At the overnight accommodation site “Geotopen”, in addition to a fire pit, firewood shed, composting toilet, water, and a covered picnic table, there are 2 shelters. It is one of the shelters - “Guldblommen” - that can be booked here. Only the shelter is booked - the rest of the site must be shared with others. If the shelter is not booked, it is “first-come, first-served”. Guldblommen has glass (and a nice view) facing west, and the evening sun can shine through the engraved glass. The shelter has been rethought in design by designers and artists - with support from Statens Kunstfond and Brønderslev Kommune. This shelter is notable for being warm when the evening sun shines on the glass. Also note that there is a bench on the backside of the shelter where you can enjoy the view, and there is a covered bench/high bench/cooking table next to the shelter.
