Vollerup Skov

Vollerup Skov contains varied forest, open nature, lakes, and bogs. In the forest, there are gravel roads, a heart trail, bridle paths, and a shelter with a campfire site. If you have a fishing license, there is an opportunity to fish in Kirkebjergsø. This forest can be booked for special activities. Most activities in the Danish Nature Agency’s areas do not require permission. This applies, for example, to a normal walk or bike ride, excursions with school classes, use of campfire and barbecue sites, children’s birthdays, etc. Some activities, however, require permission, for example, if they are commercial or have a noticeable impact on other forest visitors’ experience of nature, the forest’s animals and plants, or forest management. You get permission by using the Danish Nature Agency’s booking system. Even if your activities do not require permission, you may consider informing us before larger activities, so we can inform other users about your activities and help avoid other activities simultaneously.
