Shelterplads i Klosterskov Nord

In Klosterskov Nord, there is a shelter with a campfire site with a grill. The shelter is located in a clearing in the forest, just 50 meters from a large campfire hut with a grill and a table-and-bench set. The shelter can accommodate four people. The shelter must be booked, which can be done up to 3 months in advance, and for a maximum of two nights at a time. The shelter is located in a free camping forest, meaning tents are allowed to be pitched next to the shelter. For tent pitching, the rules are that it is only permitted to stay one night in the same spot, a maximum of two tents may be pitched in the same spot, and tents may accommodate a maximum of three people. There is a tap at the campfire hut. There is no toilet at the shelter site or in the forest as a whole. You must bring your own firewood. Campfires are only permitted in officially established fire pits, such as in the campfire hut. When arriving by car, the nearest parking lot is on Mellemvangsvej. From here, it is 325 meters from the nearest parking lot to the shelter site by bike or on foot along a gravel path and dirt path. Access to the shelter is via a gravel road, grass, and dirt path. The shelter is designed with a transfer platform for wheelchair users, but the wheelchair must be off-road capable to reach the shelter. There are no waste bins at the shelters or the campfire hut, so whatever you bring on your trip, you must also take home. The shelter was built with support from A.P. Møller Fonden.
