About this spot

Tremosegård has long since been demolished and removed, and the former waterworks building is now furnished with 2 sleeping areas with space for 4-6 people in each. One is bookable, the other is not (the non-bookable one operates on a “first come, first served” basis). Between the sleeping areas, there is a covered area where you can sit and eat your food, and there is light inside the building. It is not permitted to pitch a tent next to the shelter due to the Mols Bjerge Preservation. There is access to a composting toilet and water. There is a campfire site and a grill grate. You can collect dry twigs and branches in the area. Sometimes there is firewood in the shed on site, but if you want to be absolutely sure, you should bring your own firewood. There is a small lake 10 meters from the campfire site. This overnight accommodation is a good starting point for hikes in Mols Bjerge. The building is located in a small valley, surrounded by trees and hilly terrain, with a view of Tremose. There may be swallows’ nests above the shelter entrances.
