About this spot
No booking possible. The shelter can be used freely and free of charge by cyclists and hikers. Spots are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. The shelter is under supervision, as we live right next door. The shelter is located in an apple orchard, in a small village. Parties, noise, and excessive drinking are not tolerated. Quiet hours between 11 PM and 6 AM. Water can be fetched at ‘På Toppen-Cafe og Herberg’, across the road. There is an outdoor tap on the north side of the long building. Alternatively, water can be collected at the church. Firewood can (possibly) be bought at ‘På Toppen - Cafe og Herberg’. Alternatively, firewood can usually be purchased at a stall 1 km down Ø. Bakkevej towards Vrinners. Dead branches from felled trees can be freely collected in the goat enclosure. Living trees and bushes must not be damaged. Shopping facilities are available in Vrinners. Trash cans at ‘På Toppen’, across the road, are for waste. Use the toilet at the church. When using the toilet, shower, and/or kitchen (open 7 AM - 10 PM) in the hostel, 50 DKK per person is payable at the ‘På Toppen’ cafe window. The goats in the enclosure may be petted. Do not give them processed food and avoid entering the enclosure if you see horses present. Sincerely, Anne Kristine Mouritsen Mobile 20445384
